Question about Toshiba Equium 6200M (PV1026U-01A) PC Desktop
It says this :
Proxy Server Refused Connection.
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
its an add-on on my firefox. Do you know any way to fix this?
(software problem)
Thanks,
Eifion
Well Ultrasurf obviously does not want to work with your internet connection (like mine)
For now you need to remove Ultrasurf. Go to Tools>>Add-ons>>UltraSurf Firefox Tool>>Disable OR Uninstall.
That should at least get your internet working...
As for a working proxy, try using a "Web based proxy"
Google it.
Thanks,
Ted

Oops! Sorry my answer was wrong! Since then I've discovered how to use the UltraSurf add-on.
As I posted in another topic:
"
PAY ATTENTION TO THIS!
Sorry, but obviously I did NOT know how to use the UltraSurf add-on. I feel like an idiot. Well, here's how:
1. Ensure you have the Firefox UltraSurf add-on installed.
2. Go tohttp://ultrareach.com to get UltraSurf, download the latest version.
3. Open UltraSurf and internet explorer will open. Close internet explorer.
4. In UltraSurf, go to "Options" and select "Do not use IE" and "Hide Golden Lock"
5. Restart UltraSurf.
6.
Go to Firefox (With UltraSurf ON) and click on WJ Disabled and it will
become WJ Enabled. Voila! (BTW If there is no WJ Disabled, look for a
grayed out icon, when you click it, it will become visible.
Enjoy surfing in anonymity!

Click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options" to open the browser properties.
Click the "Connections" tab and select "Settings" to open the proxy server configuration.
View the section labeled "Proxy Server." This contains the Internet protocol and port address for your proxy server.
For Firefox
Click the "Firefox" menu, select "Options" and choose "Options" again from the menu that slides out
Click the "Advanced" tab and select "Network" tab. Click "Settings" to open your proxy server configurations.
View the section labeled "Manual Proxy Configurations." This lists the IP and port addresses for your proxy server
hope this helps
