Turn signal not blinking

It is sometimes a indication that you have a bulb shorting out and needs replaced. Have someone help you check all your lights to make sure they are all working. If one is out, this should solve your problem.

It is probably a bad air bag sensor or clock spring. You should have dealer diagnose.

Air bag light stays on after start up cleared code with snap-on scanner and light comes back on.The vehicle is a 2005 lesabre ltd. 3.8 liter

There is an issue. Clearing the code does not fix the problem... Pull the code and investigate what it indicates. Commonly, there is a sensor in the front that gets corroded connections. Replacement comes with new harness.

Basic clarity" my drivers side air bag light is on also flashes some times. its that a faulty sencor ? thank you harvey

Hello Harvey,

The Air bag warning indicator will FLASH and/or stay on STEADY if the system has detected a fault.. The fault can exist anywhere in the system, sensors, wiring, air bags, module, etc... I recommend you take it to your local Ford, Lincoln, Mercury dealership or a qualified reputable repair shop familiar with late model Ford SRS systems.. For Diagnostic trouble code retrieval and system repair...

Air bag Indicator flashed and than stays on

If the only code 52 is flashing then system is ok and just needs to be cleared.Look behind the glove box and find the gray 2 wire connector. It will be on the left side behind the glove box and follow the proceedure below. Once a fault has been serviced, the associated diagnostic trouble code may be cleared from NVM. Only diagnostic trouble codes that the air bag diagnostic monitor sees as repaired or intermittent may be cleared (diagnostic trouble codes 52 and above). In no circumstances can hard fault conditions (diagnostic trouble codes 45 and below) be cleared.
  1. Follow the diagnostic procedures as outlined to service the fault condition flashing on the air bag indicator.
  1. Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then to RUN.
  1. Observe air bag indicator prove-out (six ±two seconds) followed by diagnostic trouble code (52-85) flashing completely one time.
  1. Locate the Diagnostic Service Connector located underneath the glove compartment containing Circuits 631 (T/R) and 57 (BK).
  1. Use a jumper wire to short Circuit 631 (T/R) to Circuit 57 (BK) or to another good ground.
  1. Hold short until air bag diagnostic monitor tone sounds (approximately five seconds).
  1. Release short on Circuit 631 (T/R) to Circuit 57 (BK). Diagnostic trouble code is now cleared from NVM. Next highest priority diagnostic trouble code stored in NVM (if one exists) will begin flashing
