On the slide there is a handle. This releases the top reader port of the copier, move it to the left. Raise right side cover and remove the drum cartridge unit. You should see the jammed paper there, at the right lower access door, or in the fuser where the paper should come out. Just reverse the procedure to reset the jam. If the copier still indicates the jam then it must be in the fuser. You will have to have a technician remove the fuser assembly from the copier and take apart the unit to remove the jam. Hope this helps.
after yoy slide, open up the cover and then you will see the cartridge (black color) then you pull out the cartridge (there is a holder steel). and you will see the paper jammed. take it all, do not be left one bit. and then replace all like a before.
Hi
With this copier I find the paper jam is always in the fuser area. Its very hard to get to. You need a a flash light and tweezers to get it. You need to look where the paper comes out.
Thank you, Steven 805-520-3003
There may still be a small sliver of paper somewhere along the paper path. It only takes one small piece to interfere with the mechanism that detects jams and causes the copier to stop working. Since the copier gives you an indication of where the jam is occurring, I would focus my attention in that area, removing trays, using a small flashlight to get a really good look inside.
check as follows. Give by turns several sheets. Localize, where paper is stoped attentively see that can disturb her(its) motion. Follows to pay attention to presence stranger subject ( such can be) , then, when you find, place of the constant grip, analysing reason, can is there jammed ragged paper, can was torn off protection of the corona, it wore slantings gross, please ask, beside who has occurred jam and that herewith occurred. I ?????? with this technology 20 years and always in such events ask, as this has occurred. Most often this reason scrap papers, which is not seen, hereinafter stranger subjects, even feminine emery board and staples. You manage, in this nothing complex.

We have a D780, which is probably very similar to your unit. Have you removed your toner cartridge and inspected to see if any paper is in the paper path? 95% of the time that is where the paper jam is.
