Hp 3210 the paper will not feed in from tray when printing

exactly the same problem...printer is over a year old but hardly used. I have tried putting in fresh paper and fanning the paper. keep getting error message to load paper in main tray. This is an excellent quality printer but f'n useless if I can't feed paper.

virtuall new because it never feeds the paper properly, we have to use about ten sheets just to print one page I should have returned this because it is virutually useless. G jones

I have a MAC OS 10.4.11 and an HP Photosmart 3210 all in one. I use Iphoto and have been trying to print a 4 x 6 photo from Iphoto directly to printer. No matter what I try the photo tray does not engage...

I haven't been able to make it work from photo tray either but I do put photo paper in main tray and change settings in Iphoto accordingly and print pics that way.

just remove thr paper outer tray and see if there is any part of paper is there.

Only on Quicken to 3210 all-in-one printer. Paper starts to feed then indicates paper jam, wait long enough and paper feeds with crinkle and no print.

I would check the paper path on the printer where it is crinkling the paper. More than likely there is some small piece of paper or something that is causing it. Does it only do this out of quicken? I wouldn't think so if the paper comes out damaged....

Manually feeding paper

Even if manual feeding is an option the paper must be able to fit the paper tray in order to feed it through the printer.

ok u neeed to to remove all old drivers all printer driver form add remove then run www.ccleaner.com tool get left junk out then go to hp.com download latest driver for your printer vista or xp need try that 1st thx nick

Paper tray does not feed at all or may jam several papers

The rubber wheels that feed the paper in can be too soft to grip the paper.
After a long dicussion with the help desk, HP supplied me with a special Paper Feed Cleaning Kit for the 3200 series. This comprises a scraper device that you insert into the paper feeder, and a driver CD. I had to use it three times, Now everything woerk fine.

Have you processed many print jobs through this printer? if so, you might be needed a maintenance kit. the kit will include new rollers that will help pull the paper into the proper feed paths.

"Out of paper" error message

i would try clening the paper feed tires and roller and if that dose not work i woudl replace them.also pull the paper tray out adn look in top of the printer where the paper feeds out of the tray to see if the is a peice paper is blocking the sensor that reads that the printer has paper.

Paper feed problem

Check all this-----

1.check the printer paper feed roller jam.
2.check the paper sensor, It is working or not.
3.check the paper tray(clean it)
4.service the printer, (If possible).
