My PSP wont read my battery

It could be a number of things. 1. When you don't play your psp for awhile the battery dies. So try plugging it in. 2. If you have ran any online downloaded program recently you could have the bricker virus. Witch you would have to send it to sony to be fixed. 3.Try removing your memory stick and battery then turn it on with the power adapter plugged in.

your psp is frying your battery. well the eeprom on the battery.

Get it modded it's very cheap $20 - $40. You will still be able to play games just look it up "PSP mod" on craigslist.com and you should be able to find something.

ok well the laser is bad or something else in your psp but if u would like to get games for free and etc all u have to do is put custom firmware and ill do everything and anything to help u from there so email me at [email protected]

the downloads dont matter.u change the battery and if it doesnt work take it to a shop.if u have spill water on it open the psp cover and everything and for 2 days put it in the hot sun

Restart your psp click R button go in configuration...

Try getting a new battery

Gee I wonder why. Just take the battery out and let both the PSP and the battery dry out for a few days.

Try another UMD disc. If it also gives an error, chances are the lens of the drive got damaged from the fall.
