Some indesit washer have a module if you pull your washer out make sure power is off take the back off and you will see it on your left hand side it should be in a plastic cover with about 8 wires going into the cover there should be 2 screws that locate this to the back of your washer if not then it will have carbon brushes if these are lower thanabout 8ml long they need replacing these are locatable in the motor by having 1 small wire going onto them they will be plastic with the carbon inside pf them m8
Checkto see if the washer is overloaded. Modern washing machines haveautomatic shut-off devices for out-of-balance loads. Try removing someof the clothes out of the washer and restart it. Check to make sure thelid closes properly and that the lid switch clicks when the lid isclosed. If the lid switch does not click, then the switch may need tobe replaced or the lid may be bent. If the washing machine still doesnot spin, go to Step 2.
Makesure the water is draining properly. If the water does not drain out, then it could cause the washing machine not to spin. Check all thedrain hoses for any clogs or kinks. This is easily done bydisconnecting the drain hoses and doing a visual check for clogs orkinks
Checkto see if any belts have came off or are loose. Unplug the washer andpull it away from the wall. Use the screwdrivers to remove the backpanel. Visually check for any broken or loose belts. Replace any looseor broken belts.
Whilethe back panel is off, visually check for any loose or missing bolts onthe motor or drum. If any are missing or loose, tighten them andreplace the ones that are missing.
Ifeverything has checked out to this point, then the water level switchcould be bad or the water level hose could be clogged. Remove the frontpanel of the washer and locate the clear tube going from the tub to thewater level switch. If lint or debris has gotten into the water levelhose, then the washer may not spin fast. Clean the debris from the hoseby blowing on the hose or tapping it on the side. To check the waterlevel switch, go to the back of the washer and locate the back end ofthe water level hose. Use the voltmeter to check to see if the waterlevel switch is getting any power.
Ifthe washing machine still doesn't spin fast enough or doesn't spin atall, then it is time to call in a professional washing machinerepairman.
