I was listening to the music of my psp.my psp is on my lap and when i stand up my psp almost fell but i cathed it.but when i look at my psp it was turned off and when i open it...it opened but there was a blank screen.only i can see was the background.plz help i nid ur help ASAP tnx^_^

I Replaced a broken screen I connected all cables and connectors but only get a blank screen Iknow it is on because I can see faintly the background but the images just wont come on

Does it turn on turn up the volume does it make noise of scrolling toolbar if you can hear it backlight is gone buy a back light from a place that does refunds and put it in and try it if still black fuse might be gone folloow this tutorial how to do it if you are technical enough to do it

Always start with the simplest answer first so make sure it is charged and the headphone socket is not damaged.
Take out the battery, memory card, headphones and disk and then hold the power switch on (up) for 30 seconds.
Next reinsert the battery and try it again, if it works at this point switch off, clean the contacts on your memory stick duo, reinsert it and switch back on.
Lastly clean the laser in your UMD drive, you can do this with an alcohol free CD wipe wrapped around a cotton bud (q-tip) and try it with a disk.
If non of this helps post back.
It is odd that if you caught it it would still not turn on. Perhaps something inside just disconnected. If you are technical you may want to open it up and check to make sure all the connections are hooked up.

Hi first i will say sorry for that. I will recommend that you see a certified technician to fix it up, there are a few things i guess are wrong with your psp... the system of psp are fragile and should be handled with care because i think one or more parts are broken and need replacement. Cheers
i think one of the problem that you have is the lcd of your psp it might be broken or the light of the lcd has a damage so i suggest that you buy a lcd for your psp.then ask the vendor if they can change the lcd i think if they are selling an lcd for the psp they can handle that. hope i help
For how long have you NOT been using your PSP? and did anything happen before you even tried using it AGAIN? Do you have others in your area who has a PSP? if nothing happened to your psp before you tried using it again e.g.accidentally fell or something like that, then just try to use a different WORKING psp battery...if it didn't work, then prolly your PSP went brick and the only solution for that is a pandora kit...
Don't listen to dnbull. i looked at the PSP sites, and apperantly that kind of thing will only happen if it got screwed because you shut of power while it was loading, downloading, saving etc. and it will take about 2-4 hours of time for the data to restart. Put in on a charger and leave it on for a long time and it should restart. you might not have all your files though... sorry...:(
