We are trying to install our brand new frigidaire front loader machine. It is perfectly level, and when the water starts to fill the tub (on any setting and water temp), after about 3-5 minutes, we get an E10 error. There are No kinks, the drain hose is adequately high enough and there is no oversudsing.
Has anyone had a water pressure problem? We noticed that our hot water pressure is noticeably lower than the cold pressure (with both valves wide open). Any tips or suggestions would be helpful to get our machine running before waiting for service in 1 week.
The water definitely fills the tub. The E10 error appears just as it seems the proper water level has been acheived.
We just put an extension onto the drain hose to make sure that the bend is 24 inches. Still not working. The drain hose now comes from the washer, to the floor, and then back up to the PVC drain pipe at 3 feet high (from the floor). we are calling service tommarrow, but are VERY discouraged that we cannot get this thing to work properly. The water definitely fills the tub. Re:
Are you sure that water fills the tub ?
Close the hot water tap and check if cold water fills in, then close the cold water tap and open the hot water one and check whether hot water fills in.

Who installed the machine? If it is a front loader did you remove the shipping bolts? If it is installed correctly I'd say it has a bad control board.
Unplug the machine, let it set for one hour and then try it again.
Hello paversa971 - Are you certain the error code is E12? This manufacturer does not have any E12 error code for washers. Could it possibly be E10 or E11? If so, washer may be experiencing a water fill issue.
E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.
Alot of times with front loader machines they will shake at high speed even if the machine is level. The floor may not sturdy enough. You can put a piece of 3/4" plywood or something like that under you machine. I know putting plywood under your machine is not the best looking thing, but it should help the shaking. The product just needs to to sturdy.
sorry no recalls on fridgidaire front load,,there pretty good units,,the mildew and slugg comes from not using he or low suddsing detergent..now dont move so fast ,,because a new spin basket may not solve your problems with noise..check that back tub bearing while you have it a part..now that unit is fresh and new ,,clean the unit every other month with bleach..hot wash cold rinse,,that will keep suds slug and smell out unit...onthejob
I had to replace my keypad display after it got fried by the steam. Call Fridgidaire and let them know you've seen numerous people on the internet with the same issue and they should cover it under warranty. The part #154554401
I have a Fridgidaire Front Loader Washer _ Affinity that flashed the E10 error code. I also had the problem with the fabric softener dispenser not emptying, and staying full of water. The problem was the cold water filter on the back of the washing machine that was semi-plugged. Cleaned the filter and now works perfectly. My machine is no longer flashing the Error code 10. The dispenser works perfectly.
The water definitely fills the tub. The E10 error appears just as it seems the proper water level has been acheived.
