T. V. stuck on one channel showing the device option.
My tv will not respond to remote control the only way it will turn ON is pushing the power button on the tv. when ON. it seems like its stuck in one channel and it shows on the bottom of the screen all the diferent devices. the antena A is highlited. but it seems like the device option is stuck because it's going from one device to another .doesn't matter if enter is pushed to select what I want . still bounce's around. also shows on the top left video tv, shows top right audio tv. volume, channel will not work either. I tried reseting but still no fix. T.V. brand mitsubishi model WS-65611.
Re: T. V. stuck on one channel showing the device...
I had same problem and discovered one of the little buttons on the front of the TV was stuck down. Don't know why, unless the maid bumped it hard as we never use them. Anyway, I poked/wiggled a few times at each button and the problem stopped.

Try this. Here you go. This will work with most all universal remote controls. If you don't have the code do the following: Automatic Programming With automatic programming, the remote control tests all the codes available on the Code List and assigns the correct code for the selected device. Although this method can be more time-consuming, it eliminates the need to look up codes and enter them manually.
1. Turn off the device with which you want to use the remote control.
2. Press and hold the corresponding button on the remote control (TV, VCR, SAT, DVD, CAB or AUD) until POWER INDICATOR illuminates. It should take a couple of seconds for the light to remain solid. The remote control is in programming mode.
3. Press and release power button. The POWER INDICATOR flashes once and stays on indicating the unit is in Power Scan mode.
4. Press CHANNEL up or CHANNEL down repeatedly until the device turns on.
5. When the device turns on, press OK to store the code.
Note: • To exit without storing the code, press BACK. • T he unit will search for the next code or the previous code if you press CHANNEL up or CHANNEL down after the device turns on. (go slow you need to press OK when the TV turns on) if you mess up turn TV off and start over. 6. Press any other button. If the device responds, the remote control has been programmed. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-5.

Hi! This worked for me! I'm Leyz/leheart from the Philippines. I'm typing in CDRKing or CD-R King or CDR King Universal Remote Control PX-RC1 so that these keywords will show up if someone's looking for it too. Mcneileric is right! Real TV should be on! On the remote, press and hold the SET and DEVICE TYPE (in my case TV) at the same time. (Note: SET button is not any other button but the one with the word SET on it. You might have been searching on youtube and found that they are pressing other SET buttons but do press the SET button with the SET word). Then press SET again. Press the POWER button then + CHANNEL button then POWER button then +CHANNEL button then POWER button then +CHANNEL. (This process is so the remote could look for the code while you are pressing the +CHANNEL and the POWER is to see if the tv will turn off/respond to the remote). Do this repeatedly until the time that when you press the POWER button, the real TV turns off which means the real TV now responds. You will be shocked so DON'T press the +CHANNEL button anymore as this will instruct the device to look for another code. Instead, press the DEVICE TYPE button (TV for my case) to finish the set up. NOW YOU CAN USE the REMOTE! Press the POWER button and this will turn on the TV! Again... TV onPress and hold SET button (yes, the button with the word SET) and DEVICE type button (TV/VCR,etc) at the same time for about 3 secondsPress SET againPress Power to check if the TV turns off^^If nothing happens, press +CHANNEL to search for codePress Power again to check if TV turns off^^If nothing happens, repeat the step between ^^ and ^^If the TV now turns off after pressing the POWER button, press the DEVICE type button to finish the setup. Mcneileric, THANK YOU!!!!
