I've just installed the LifeCam NX-6000 and the picture is very fuzzy with no way to correct it. There is not a dial to turn to clear up the picture and in the lifecam dashboard the option to correct the focus is not available. Any ideas on how to correct this?

How do you manually adjust the focus of the lens? Does this require opening up the computer? My webcam is fuzzy too and ive tried reinstalling the software and played around with the properties to no avail.

Hi, I would assume that by "i have tried with the settings..." that you are referring to the Camera Properties in Windows. Perhaps you should try mechanical setting, that is manually adjust the focus of the lens. Around the actual lens to the front of the camera, rotate the stub/protrusion while watching the camera display on your monitor. Adjust to your preference. It may also be a good idea to increase the light in your work area. Hope this works out for you. Good luck and pls post again how things turn up or if you would need further information. Kind regards.

The adjustment of the focus is not discussed in the brief manual supplied with the unit and it is somewhat tricky until you realize how it works. The ring appears to be fixed in place but if you use the palm of your hand and press firmly on the ring and rotate it slowly you can manage to free it up. Once it's loose it will remain free to rotate and adjust the quality of your image.

I have a canon rebel t1i and while in sports mode at night, it takes fuzzy pictures and nothing comes out clear?

You have to Manually Set/Override the ISO settings to a larger number like 1600 or higher this will let the camera take pictures at faster shutter speed to freeze the action, Try to use the camera in more manual modes, Tell the camera what do, old school photograpy.

My pictures turn out fuzzy all the time and i can't figure out how to turn on my flash. Please Help! Casio Exilim EX-Z70

Flash should turn on by pressing the "Set" button and then the down arrow until you get to the flash menu. Choose the setting that looks like a lightning bolt.

If that doesn't work press the "Menu" button and then press the "right arrow" until you are on the far right tab. Press the "up arrow" until you come to "Reset." Press the "Right arrow." The camera will ask you if you want to reset it. Tell it "Yes." This will take it back to factory settings and clear any mode that turns the flash off.

Are the pictures fuzzy because the flash isn't working? Are outdoor pictures in daylight fuzzy or OK? If they are fuzzy all the time you may have a lens problem. If they are only fuzzy when the flash is needed, fixing your flash should cure the problem.

The picture on the screen as all fuzzy and cant get a clear picture without having a shadow or it being fuzzy

Do you have a led or crt display? It could be just your display settings. Go to control panel /display properties /setting tab / and try changing the screen resolution. If no difference try the color quality. You can change the color bits without hurting any thing. Just remember what you changed it from and to.
If this doesn't help maybe you'll need a new screen.

Model 34pw8520 picture got fuzzy, then fuzzy, clear, fuzzy clear, then went blank (black). Picture tube? how much to repair?

sounds more like the flyback. What is the chassis number of your set. The flyback if thats what it is would cost under 50 if you replace it yourself maybe 150 if a shop does it. But post the chassis number as the chassis number would make it easier to try to figure out if its the flyback or not.

Poor screen resolution and unable to get channel guide.

The channel guide is a service just like closed caption. Rumer has it that it's not going to be around for much longer. The only fix is to unplug set ..wait awhile till memory loss occurs...plug back up and do a setup. Nothing in the TV will cause partial guide. Weak signal could and cause fuzzy picture too. Complain to cable company. But brightness problem is something else.
