I need your help

My burner (QUE! USB2) won't work at all on my MAC. I'm not sure if it has plug and play features or not? Do i need drivers and if so where can i get them for QUE! USB2?

Have you looked on the website in the manefactures web pages or if in the manual did it say for mac as well for pc if you don't see this on the manual or the box then it's only for pc is your operating system detecting plug and play have you got power to the drive then pluging in to usb port as some extutnal devices require power on before pluging in

i take it your talking about a pc dvd burner if its not opening or closing i wouls say the cog/ruber band has broken you need to replace the driver (dvd burner)

I was given a Que M3. I don't know how to activate it, and add it to my Mac. Is this the same as a Que 2?

You problably just need to google for the drivers. mac ones are all over the internet. It won't open unless it has drivers.

Hmmm sounds like corrupt install or possibly the bad drive....or the disk you are trying to read is bad

Driver for QPS Que! USB2

Just go to the ADAPTEC_403A folder on the cd and right click on all ".inf" files (all the ones that have "inf" at the end). Select "Install" in the pull down menu reboot and enjoy... ward bones

Que 525 CD drive/burner problem

Unfortunately, after digging around awhile I found this:

"Cypress, which is the company that writes the drivers and made the chipset used in the back panel for these drives will not be making any more drivers for this chipset, so unforunately the drive will not be supported on OS 10.3 and later." - qps-inc

So it seems that it will not work with OSX. Sorry =/

have you tried the manufactures webpage for your burner for the mac and is you mac got usb 2.0 inabled or is it only usb1.0 only if it is only got usb 1 then get yourself a usb 2 add on card then you may be able use usb 2 devices on the mac. hope this works for you
