I had wireless internet connection added to my computer my fans stopped working I have 2 remote controls for my fans neither work I changed the batteries still didn't work the fans are wired separately so one can work without the other the fans can be turned off by switch on the wall but must be turned on by remote hunter fans are about 10 years old never had any problems before now fans are on a 20 feet ceiling so they are hard to reach not sure who to call to fix problem is problem related to digtal wireless Help
I have had two Hunter fans for nearly 10 years. The remote receivers can fail from time to time (I have replaced one in each fan). However recently I began having inconsistent operation from the remotes (part no. 85095-01). I thought the problem was interference or the batteries. Once I realised new batteries didn't help, I took a chance and took the remotes apart (one very small screw in the battery compartment and 3 more to remove the board from the housing). I cleaned all of the contacts on the board with a q-tip and a light coating of alcohol. I also cleaned the rubber pads on the buttons that touch the board. Once I snapped the remotes back together, they worked almost like new.

Have you contacted Hunter? Have you turned off the wireless internet to see if fans work? You may have to try another internet brand or try moving to another part of the house.

I have 2 remote hunter fans , and 1 year after installtion they stopped working . alleast when you want them to , they will some times come on unexpectenly . I aslo live about 200 yds away from a radio twr . I think the hz from the tower is effecting the reciver in the fan . I have a reguler pull cord fan fron hunter and i works fine . I think the only solution is to changr the fans , wich sucks because I paid 250$ a pop for them .
Just installed a remote in our new cieling fan. The fan and light will randomly turn on. Suspect it's random interference, but to change the dip switch settings is a pain in the @$$.
fan or lights turn on
My three remote controlled ceiling fans stopped working all of a sudden, all at the same time. I did not do any thing different and can not pin point the problem. I had these ceiling fans since last six years and so also wireless internet for almost six years. Any easy solution?
