i have the same problem. once, I wanted to look inside the player but i removed de hard disk connector by accident, when i plug t it :
"Erroe Code : 0400001F"

The ribbon was dislodged from the circuit board connector, I re inserted it and it worked.

This error code is very hard to fix. You may end up having to send it back to Olympus or buy a new one. But here's a few things to try and you may get lucky. Connect the remote, power on the player and hold down the heart, mode and play buttons on the remote at the same time. This re-sets the player. If this doesn't work, remove the back cover. There are 4 small screws that hold the back plate on. Once the cover is removed, unplug the battery. Plug it back in after 30 seconds. The player should re-boot. You can also try disconnecting the hard drive and reconnecting it. Unplug the battery before disconnecting the hard drive. If none of these suggestions work, you may be out of luck. i know of no other ways to fix this error code.

The hard drive ribbon cable isn't in right. Make sure the ribbon is pushed in all the way and STRAIGHT.

There is an error with the HDD (Hard Drive)

It has either malfunctioned or the interface cable has been disconnected or not connected properly.
If the HDD still spins (listen for the spinup) then it has either malfunctioned or cable has not been connected properly.

Hi ! Error code is this error code 2000 - 0146??? if that is the error message you have to contact dell technical support to replace the hard drive because that error code mean that the hard drive is already faulty. You can Reinstall the Hard drive as well but it is not guarantee that it will fix the issue. Most of the time dell will send a hard drive replacement for that kind of message if the system is still in warranty it will be free but if not you have to pay for the replacement. Hello my name is yogesh my leptop model is studio1555 and the problem is how to remove hdd password on my leptop because i set password but this password are not work and after 3 times you rong password...

you'll need to contact Dell support for this one. they will be able to help you request a password that you can use to reset/clear the hard drive password. After it is reset, you may then set a new hard drive password if preferred. Be sure that you have the ownership information of the system in order to get help from Dell about this issue.

Problem
Description:
EIO Accessories (EIO Card/Hard Disk Drive) Error.
Corrective Action: Try the following:
n Press ENTER and switch the printer OFF. Remove the Hard Disk
Drive (if installed) and make sure that the EIO card is installed
correctly by pushing it firmly inwards and checking that the two
installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the printer
ON again. If this error code continues to appear then replace the
EIO card.
n If this Error Code disappeared after removing the Hard Disk
Drive, then switch the Printer OFF and reinstall the Hard Disk
Drive, making sure that the two installation screws are
completely tightened. Switch the Printer ON again. If this Error
Code reappears, then the Hard Disk Drive could be faulty.
