Dont worry on that you can download your software and drivers and also the firmware of your g610., Just visit this website kodak.com/go/G610support Now you can just click download software and firmware. for you to see the link of the drivers and firmware
can you check if you have the CD that came along with the Kodak Printer? You would need that to install the printer on your computer. Once thats done, you should be able to print the pics
Hope this helps
Thanks
Ranjit
You know I had this same problem for a while as well. The only solution I found was that I HAD to use the Kodak Easyshare software in order to print anything with it. (That was the case with my XP desktop and my Mac laptop...). But sometimes it still would not spool properly and would require unplugging the printer and plugging it back in to reset.
it is advisable to use a recomended usb cable for your printer dock. you can try also to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver on your computer. just simply follow this steps:
Remove the drivers that your operating system automatically installed on your computer: -- On your desktop, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Printers & Faxes. -- Remove all Kodak printers. Right-click the printer icon. Select Delete. -- On your desktop, right-click My Computer, then select Properties. -- Select the Hardware tab. -- Click Device Manager. -- In the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click USB Composite Device, then select Uninstall. note: make sure that the only device connected to your computer usb port is your G610 printer dock to make sure that the USB Composite Device that you uninstall is for your G610, most of the devices connected to you usb port has USB Composite Device also. -- In the Imaging devices list, if any Kodak printers appear, right-click the Kodak device, then select Uninstall. -- Disconnect the USB cable from your printer. -- Restart the computer -- Power Cycle the printer -- once your computer is ready connect the G610 to your computer -- check if you have a pop up window display on your computer informing you that your computer found a hardware device -- you can go to printer and faxes and check if the G610 printer icon is on the list -- try to make a test print
Verify that your computer is communicating with your printer: -- Check that your printer is on. -- verify if the USB cable meets your printer specifications. -- Check that the USB cable and the power cord are securely connected to your printer and your computer.
