I was given this tv, and the left 1/3 of it has a green haze and shadowing. I'm not sure what this is from but my X-Box 360 begs for it to be fixed. So if you can give a clue to repair this problem I would deeply appreciate it.

watch for speakers being to close to the tv. if a speaker has a big magnet on the back of it, it will cause it to have the shadow and then it will turn green. so make sure there is nothing with a magnet close to the tv because it will ruin the tube on the tv.

Your green gun in our tv is misagligned/out of focus. Your tv uses red, green and blue guns that layer in different shades and mix to create the different colors. Your green is a little off so the colors aren't mixing right which explains the green haze and the shadows. A tv repair man can fix this problem pretty easily and it isnt expenisve.

The most common problem for this complaint is contaminated coolant for the picture tubes. If you look directly into the three picture tubes you will probably see a haze in the blue one. This is fairly common but requires a knowledgeable service man to take care of.
