Question about Singer CE-200 Quantum Futura Computerized Sewing Machine
Just bought a new computer with the 32 bit Vista on it. I went to the Sindger site and got the installing instuctions and patch for vista. Followed the directions and it keeps asking for the optional disk for the digitizing software you can get for this machine. I do not use this software since I use another digitzing program. How do I get past this. It seems that the patch is for the C-200 only.
oh, i hava a bigger problem, my new lap top doesn´t run any of the software, but it is a problem of the disc, i have tried whit different lap tops and no one of them recongnized the disc, is like if the disk was empty. Does someone have a solution for me please??

Vista is notorious for being flaky regarding embroidery software etc.....have you had advice from the Singer Dealer where you bought the machine ?
Find your local dealer HERE
Singer USA Customer Support should have solutions for these things by now too and I recommend you hound them if they cannot easily suggest what to do. Vista is some years old now, not the first few weeks of release !

Update with WIndow 7 support is already available at:
If you applied wrong patches you will have to uninstall Futura, reboot, install from the beginning the basic version and then apply an update 188.8.131.52
