TV manual has instruction and codes, or Check www.remotecentral.com for the manual and codes. Some combo setups won't work with alot of the universal remotes tha come with TV's. Also Try aftermarket universal remote.
Go video remote for dvd/vcr recorder combo; you program TV by 2 digit codes. press TV power down when TV is powered on; and input 11 for JVC TV, or 03 for GE TV. You can experiment any two digit codes until TV shut down, then you have just finished programing n150b remote. This also work for all LG dvd/vcr combo recorder remote such as 6711RN203A..
I had the same problem with the same unit when I first bought it a few months ago.
First up remove the DVD. If the TV stations do not appear within a couple of seconds press the "TV" button (top, second from left) on your remote control.
I solved it myself. I actually found the manuals for both the tv that the Hitachi remote came with and for our LG. The codes for programing the tv the remote came with were all two digit, like 24, 01, 34, etc. All the codes for the LG are three digit codes, 001, 210, etc. So I am pretty sure they will not speak to each other. The Hitachi is just a bit too outdated.
I believe Viore is the same as Samsung. I only noticed this by accident as I bought a Viore TV and my friend bought a Samsung and I noticed both remotes were identical. I tried the Samsung codes and the remote worked. Good luck! Kevin
I own a One-for-All universal remote control (model URC-4220) ,and my booklet says that the setup code for a LG TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is either 0178 or 1265.
I called trutech, not an easy number to find, but it is in your manual. they said none of their tv/monitors match up with any universal remote. you have to use the supplied remote only. i bought the floor model, which broke within a year, and it came without a remote. That is why I had to contact them. it was reasonable, $10-12. i will never buy another
I don't see a solution just more people requesting codes!
I need a code for Panasonic dvd by using RCA universal remote control
