SOURCE: warranty for singer 7436

When/Where did you buy the machine. Most machines these days only have a 90 warranty. Janome has a bit longer... then of course there's the warranty the seller may or may not sell you.

Personally? I would toss that Singer as far as I could then let the neighbor boys shoot at it. I'm sorry they just aren't made like they used to be and Singer is not well regarded by seamers anymore. Spend your $$$$ on a Janome or Babylock.

Possible thread is wrapped somewhere in the mechanism preventing the machine from moving freely.

Singer 7436 buttonhole problem

Hello,

I have found that the problem lies with the button hole pull down. Either it is too far down, or too far up. The problem that I have with it now is that it will never sew the button holes consistantly. I will set it where the button hole needs to be, and it will then proceed to place it where it wants to. Any help on this problem?
