How to disable the temperature sensor.

Hi gang, I would like to know how can i disable the temperature sensor. Im transforming a notebook into a picture frame, but, somehow, the computer keeps turning off ecause of temperature issues but the processor isnt that hot at all. One thing i realize is that the small board (the one that have the battery conectors) must be install in order to avoid the sensor to turn off the computer. Unfortunately this is not working and Im desperate to figureout how to just disable this sensors. any ideas??? thank you guys in advance PC

    Hi again,

There is nothing on the BIOS to disable that and the computer shutdown right after the boot. when the windows appear. There is also nothing on the power managment settings.

I was thinking about the serie of 10 jumpers right next to the coller. does anybody knows what that jumpers for???

Before i have this problem without the board i was getting the same problem. Thats why i tought if I am able to workaround the sensor i would never have this problem again, and i would be able to make the computer work whitout the small board

    thank you for your help.

Hi, Are you aware of any power management settings in the bios which would be shutting the system down? How long does it run before it shuts down? Also check in the os for power management settings. The power board indeed needs to be in place for the machine to operate. Good luck.

This error code is related to sensor malfunction or failure.
Disconnect and reconnect sensors (while system is disconnected from electrical supply), if that does not help start by replacing the Temperature or Hi Limit sensors.

Hi pamelajo,

The failure code F2 means the Oven temperature is too hot. Please check the sensor harness. Replace relay board, if present, or oven temperature sensor (RTD).

Hope it helps.

It does not matter whether you turn on the switch or the switch is motion
activated, the light does not know who turns it on.

The switch must be designed for florescent.

What do you mean by proper base, you have a single gang wall box,
that's a box inside the wall, with the electric and a switch,
The gang could be single or hold 5 switches, which ever is installed.

Most all switches fill fit into any gang box.

Hi, these codes represents a fault within the oven temperature sensor. Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.

Please rate and god bless:)
