We have two phones, one is a fax/phone brother fax930 model dowstairs and a phone upstairs. We have a very old fax machine brother fax 930. We have lost the manual. I would like to program the fax machine so that it answers calls that are fax on six rings; so that I can then program the phone upstairs to be able to take messages from callers after the 5th ring.

Setting the Ring Delay
The Ring Delay setting determines the number of times the machine
rings before it answers.
1 Press Menu, 2, 1. .
2 Press Z or X to select RING DELAY.
3 Press Set.
4 Press Z or X to select how many times the line rings before the
machine answers.
5 Press Set when the screen displays your selection.
6 Press Stop to exit.
