It's unual for all 3 crt's to go bad at same time, so have you tried turning up screen(G2) control? If so also there is a cap in the high voltage line that when replaced may lighten up set. Don't have model so I can't go further.

Please try reducing the contrast a little and increasing the brightness till the dark shots are clear. Please also check the back light setting. It should not be too low.This should make all the dark scenes clearly visible if it only a setting problem. In case the overall brightness has reduced, please consult a local TV Tech.
Hi, Please try to push or move the frame of your tv set on the dark side of the picture. If the picture becomes normal it is the loose connection. Otherwise it may be panel failure. Please consult some qualified technician or the service center.
It sounds as if the color controller/circuit board is becoming sensitive and may soon disconnect. Don't be surprised if someday soon, the picture goes very dark or vanishes completely. Have a technician check it out with his test equipment to locate the exact problem.
