It's unual for all 3 crt's to go bad at same time, so have you tried turning up screen(G2) control? If so also there is a cap in the high voltage line that when replaced may lighten up set. Don't have model so I can't go further.

No,colors misalignment, shodows pictures and 3D pictures are not cause by the projection lamp.It cause by the tv convergence board have 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead. The shop will cost u $300-350 for the parts and labors.
It could be that the picture tubes have gone down on emission, there is a prcedure that can be tried to bring up the overall brightness but it is just possible that you will loose some picture quality. If it's a 1994 projo tv i am thinking of the three crt system, a gray scale alignment would probably correct the dark condition in your picture, again depending on how far gone is the emission in your picture tubes, if your projo tv is the dlp system, the bad news is that you could be needing some light engine repair. The color adjustment is possible with the availability of a service manual or in the case of the dlp system, light engine repairs or replacement are available from some on line stores.
there are 2 clocks 1 for lamp and 1 for total, the total you cant change. dark picture, make sure your got same wattage lamp for replacement, I find original Philips lamps the best. if it continues follow manufacture instructions on cleaning mirror and lens.
If this is a projection TV, first you should check you lamp. Is it good (clear) or bad (foggy). If foggy, you should replace it. If it is good (clear) reseat it back onto the ballast (it just might be loose). If you are still having this problem, you probably need to replace the ballast
