I would double check your battery FIRST. It could be a bad starter, but typically if it is clicking it might just be your battery. The least expensive and quickest solution is to hook it up to a charger, and see how it does. Cheers

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.

SOURCE: 1990 Dodge Ram truck will not start, makes clicking noise.

the clicking noise is the starter solenoid, the heavy electrical contacts that supply 12 volts to the starter are burnt, you will either need to replace the starter slenoid contact set or the solenoid.

Having probems starting my car, it makes a clicking noise but don't start. What could be wrong with it?.

Usually starting noise is the starter solenoid kicking back and forth trying to engage flywheel and is caused by lack of voltage from battery starter needs to have at least 10 volts while trying to start supplied from battery. That being said something is draining power from your battery and it took about a week to drain it down. hope this helps

Sounds like a weak solenoid on the starter. Probably needs starter replacement. Those cars need a mechanic to work on them.
