My issue is with an RCA RP-9328a audio system. When I load a cd into the cd slots of the three disk cd changer everyone says no disk and will not read. The tuner, clock, and both cassette decks work perfectly. There is no damage to the unit that I can see. It just won't read any cd. I have no idea what is causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

I put 5 good discs in the system. Discs that play in other CD players. The system reads the discs and then the LED screen says NODISC. Also, when I press the play button, the tray comes out. email: [email protected]I put 5 good discs in the system. Discs that play in other CD players. If your 6-disc CD changer in the trunk of your 2002 Mercedes CLK430 was working fine yesterday, but is now displaying a "No CD Changer" message, there may be a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the connections: Make sure the CD changer is properly connected to the car's audio system. Check the connections for any loose or disconnected cables. Also, check the fuse for the CD changer in the car's fuse box.
2. Check for jammed CDs: It is possible that one of the CDs in the changer is jammed, which can cause the error message to appear. Try pressing the eject button to see if any CDs are stuck in the changer. If so, try gently removing them.
3. Check the CD format: Make sure the CDs you are trying to play are in a format that is compatible with the CD changer. The CD changer may not be able to play CDs that are scratched or in a non-standard format.
4. Try resetting the audio system: Try resetting the audio system by disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes. This may reset the CD changer and fix any software issues.
If none of these solutions work, there may be a hardware issue with the CD changer. It may need to be repaired or replaced. You can consult a mechanic or audio specialist for further assistance.
I have looked into this and can see no reason why The WHO would not play. My theory was that the album was not a pure CD but a mixed format disc. Some disks have a hidden track at the beginning which a computer can read but an audio CD play will skip. I thought perhaps your CD changer was getting confused. However Amazon say it's an Audio CD.
first the laser may be dirty. you can find lens cleaning disks at any cd store. But have you recently bought a new pack of cds? Sometimes certain CDs just simply dont work with some players. No reason for it they jsut dont work. You could also be using the wrong type of cd, CD+R vs CD-R
Thank you, Mark Z! My Pioneer PD-M551 would just stop reading the CD, usually near the end of the 4th or 5th disk, and then sometimes it wouldn't read any disks or maybe only the first one or two. I observed that the white ribbon cable was most contorted near near the end of the 4th through 6th disk (also discovered the disks are read proceeding from the center outward, unlike vinyl records). I unfolded the ribbon, massaged it and left it loose and unfolded and that fixed it (at least, temporarily). The PNP-1343 ribbon cable from Pioneer costs $11 but with shipping and handling it is over $30 so I haven't bought it yet.
you should clean your cd"s and cd player firmly and if it doesnt work still its the cd"player and you should return it if you have a warranty or connect it to you your dvd player and play your cd's from there=
RD probably stands for "Reading Disc" and ND probably stands for "No Disc". If the CD player doesn't recognize any discs, then either the laser is dead or the motor has died. MOst likely you will have to replace the unit.
