I bought a logitech z-5500 at a pawn shop and it didnt come with the part that hooks to the computer and controlls the volume and ive been looking fo one every where can someone help me please..... thanks
Www.curryspartmaster.co.uk You should be able to find what you are looking for here or alternatively go to logitech themselves
You could also try e-bay for the part as you are bound to find it much cheaper
Still having problems just let me know.

Hi there bud , There could be a number of problems as it is a refurbished Speaker Set ,It could be The Subwoofer yes , Have you tried it on other PC's? if it does the same then it is The SPeakers that are faulty :( Hope this helps Happy new year :)
Well you have some options, you can either live with 2 speakers and change the settings back to default. Im assuming the colors you have are orange black and green. black= the surround sound speakers. orange= center and subwoofer. green=right left front
Now if u want true surround sound then you need to buy a new card that had all the ports for your speakers.
You could try hooking them up to another speaker that has the input connections. I have done this before with several different speakers and daisy chained the connections with several speaker connections and they worked great. I had surround sound all over the room. You might run into a problem with the main speaker that you plug into not being able to push all of the speakers that you have but you might get lucky. Those speakers say that that carry 550 watts. I recently bought a set of speakers that stated that they push 100 watts. The sub was putting out 50 watts and the others were only putting out 25 each. I hooked up a 100 watt speaker to it and it worked. You might be able to contact logitech to get the other speaker that you need. That set of speakers looks awesome on the site. This is the specs for the other speakers
I think that this is what you wanted to know. If it was not your solution, let me know. I will help you more. I might not be understanding your question correct. I have referred your question to someone on the site that works with logitech.
the Ipod once you hook it up to the computer becomes like an external hard drive. hook it up go into my computer look for what looks like a new drive then open it up. once you do that go to edit select all then go down to delete click on it. it should get rid of all the files that are there. to put new ones on the ipod find the songs that you want and drag and drop them in the ipod drive.
It 's not the fuse!!!! THAT fuse is only for SUB !!! if that fuse was the problem he wont have power at all.THE problem is with control center .I fix my control center changing 2 diodes ,but a friend of mine have exactly the same problem comming from some transistors with is located above that 2 diodes D700,D701(so he says) --- surf check google and you ll see a lot of customers with exactly same porblem AND THIS PROBLEM I THINK IS SOME DESIGN ERRORS THAT AREN'T FIX BY LOGITECH BEFORE SELLING THIS SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!
