I have a 4gb cruzer flash drive and it was working fine for over a year and then all of a sudden when i put it in the usb port the light doesnt come on and it doesnt show up under my computer.
Okay. Try putting it in on the back of your computer and tell me if it lights up at all, even if it flashes once.

I plug in my cruzer scan card or even my memorex scan card and the computer does not reconize them
Yeah, I have the same problem. The first time I plugged it in, it flashed once and I even saw the Safely Remove Hardware icon, but it suddenly disappeared and the orange light turned off. Plugging it into the back doesn't seem to work either. :/
So how do you fix it , my usb's orange light does not turn on and it's also not recoznuized by my PC then it gets really hot under it .....
Yes it on but the light is very dim and is still not reconized by my computer or anything else, also its still gets hot under the flashdrive.
