Recently I've been having problems going to websites. Even Google, Facebook or Amazon. I get an error message that says "the server can't be found because the DNS lookup failed." Then it goes on to say what a DNS lookup is but not how to correct the problem. I also get internet connection problem error messages.
These sort of problems are usually caused by malware (Virus or Spyware) I would suggest that you try to setup your router again using the Router installation disc.
Testimonial: "I'm sure you're right in most cases, but in mine it was our hook-up with AT&T U-verse. We had been having connection problems but it didn't occur to me that the same connection applies to the internet as to the TV. So my son just did a few steps and now I'm running faster than ever. I'm still, however, having the problem with my cursor jumping back two lines when I get typing too fast. We did disengage the touchpad, but that didn't help. "

A hardware error usualy indicated a bad network cable or a bad network card. Have you tried using a different Cable?

Your laptop is not reading the hard drive correctly hence the error. Its more than likely that the drive is finished and a new one is required. Bad luck as you have probably lost all the data on it. You could remove and refit it in case of a bad connection. If it does work then back it up straight away just in case it fails again.

On the casing, is there a slider-switch that disables/enables the wireless interface?
