Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player. Good Luck, I hope this helps Please rate me, Thank You

Accidentally deleted 39 songs on mp3 player while adding new music. Went down from 218 songs - 179 songs

Hi, Well if you have deleted the songs you can not recover them in any way. What you can do is to upload new songs through your PC to your MP3 player.
Thanks! mannu_rakesh

Can't delete songs uploaded years ago.

Under windows explorer or my computer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes.

You need to reformat player with correct dirvers. This procedure has been discussed on this site. If it is certain songs you can fix them on my computer by calling up player and files and deleting using the left mouse key.

My I-bead mp3 was formatted accidentally...

Your songs are most likely gone, formatting erases all of the data on the player.
Always back up your data on a seperate disk. Good luck.

Default songs deleted

That song can not be retrieved unless you have made a back-up. Everytime you transfer songs to your MP3 player back them up so that when your player gets lost or destroyed, your songs are still intact.

Good if you remember at least the artist of the song but if you have not even the song then its difficult. Alternatively, you can download songs from the internet. I can help you with that.

What the heck?

I had something similar happen. The solution was to reformat the device. connect the player, open my computer, right click on the device, and select format. This will erase everything on the player. DenverTom
