Re: CTX Optoma EzPro 580
Hi,
Optoma USA recommend that you set the PC resolution to SVGA (800 x 600) or XGA (1024 x 768).
Your HP Pavilion ze 4900 default resolution is S = SXGA (1400 × 1050) or X = XGA (1024 × 768).
I would assume that your cable(s) are properly mated/attached from the laptop to the projector. If on pressing TV Now! One-Touch button with a TV icon at the top of your keyboard to switch the display to the TV-Out mode, there is no picture projected, you can try to manually lower the screen resolution of your PC. Try lowering it to the 800 X 600 setting in your Display Properties. Also, you may want to check if the Dual Display Mode is enabled/activated. You can try different resolution setting as long as the projector can handle it. Hopes this works and give you an idea. Should you need more assistance, pls post/comment. Good luck and kind regards.

Do a search for the lamp number on EBAY. if you don't have the lamp number, search by projector number and you should find several suppliers offering it.
