You answered my question but the comma key on the TI-84 plus siver edition is not seen over top of the #7 key. Where do I find it?
The comma key on the TI 84 SE is above the 7 key, and it is just left of (, right of x squared, and below SIN. thats where the "," key is. If you're asking something else, please clearify. My understanding is that you don't know where the comma key is.
The comma is the key above the 7 key, below the SIN key. By "above" I mean toward the top of the calculator, toward the display.

commas appear when I multiply numbers. Some setting probably needs to be reset.
for 1 var stats, using list L1 & L2, instead of the comma, enter the data like this: List: L1 FreqList: L2. this avoids the comma, and gets the result.
