No Sound..... I have just bought a truck with a stereo that was in it, a panasonic cq-c1121u type and there is no sound. i tried every button but am not sure what to do, I am in Edmonton, alta. at the time and will be travelling back to the yukon territory and really need some sound , any suggestions. oh, and i don't have the manual. The cd is playing and it acts like everything is working but no sound.

Do you have the speakers connected properly? If Yes check it with a 1,5 Volts batery to hear a click sound at your speakers... You will find the speaker cables behind the cd player.

You may have one of this two problems:
One of the speaker wires is grounded to the chassis.
Or your car may have a factory amplifier between the radio and the speakers.
My suggestion is to rewire the speakers lines
