Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,

Do you have to delete the songs that are already on the player before you download more. or can you download new songs over the ones already on the mp3 player.

Cant delete files from mp3 player

While the song is playing press and hold down the MENU button. That should take you to the list of songs otherwise you'll get an option for either File Navigator or Playlists. If so, make sure File Navigator is highlighted, press the OK button (centrally located on lower front). In either case, make sure the song you want to delete is highlighted then press the Record button (the one with the dot on it). Use up or down, if Delete is not already highlighted, then press the OK button.

PROBLEM WITH SONY NWZ-B135 PLAYER, PLEASE, HELP ME!

this sounds like you need an upgraded firmware. Because so mp3 players get bugs and they need an upgrade. The sony website may also be able to give you a factory restore. Its were they return the player to its oringle format and it will also delete any songs or any data on it.

File format error - Transcend T.sonic 610(1gb)

I had the same problem. I had formatted the player's drive using Windows explorer and the got this error: "File Format error" while trying to play any mp3 file.
I went to the command prompt. Deleted all files:
E:\> del *
Then I copied the MP3 files again in the T.sonic MP3 player. All MP3 files played fine after this.

Cant delete

Here's how you get it
you may have to open Windows Media Player but maybe not
a screen will come saying for you to choose either NO leave all the media on the device... or YES delete all media.
click YES but MAKE SURE you have the HOLD button on OFF. if you dont... it will not work
after it completes the task click FINISH

i tried for hours trying to figure it out and that made it work like a charm! =]
