Question about Philips HDD070 MP3 Player

Player not responding

Screen shows=problem connect to computer.when i do nothing happens,computer says no player connected,have tried reset,etc etc still no joy.

Press the reset button mine on it was on the bottom of the mp3 player Ive just this moment stuck a tooth pick into the reset hole and heard a click and it has just started working I was looking at this post for the solution myself and have just found it.hope this helps.

Hi,
This is due to two reasons
1.Driver problem: You need to put the CD which you've got along with the player and you need to install the USB driver. Restart the computer. Now connect your player with the computer.
2.Player problem: If the player is not connected even after installing the driver, then that is player problem. Now reset your player and again try to connect. Even after these steps your player is not connected, contact support.

Try to connect it again to your computer and while it is connected. Press the reset button on the mp3 player using a paper-clip. It should do the trick.

I've had my mp3 player for almost two years and it has worked fine. recently i tried hooking it up to the computer to charge it because it said low battery but nothing happens. i continue to get a blank...


Hi

Try and reset the player by inserting a pointed object inside the small hole, press and hold for 5-10 seconds to let the player reset. If this doesn't work then connect the player with the computer and let it charge for a while. Now go to control panel-> administrative tools-> computer management/system management-> storage, check if you are able to see the mp3 player here. If it is visible then try a reset and try again. If not then reset the player while it is connected with the system. This will resolve your issue.

Sansa Fuze, 8GB, unable to be turned on in the car after playing it just a short while ago, and is unable to connect to computer; screen is white.


You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it. To reset your Sansa Mp3 player. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. Release the Power switch. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly. If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

-Also try to refresh the driver in your PC. Connect the Sansa player to the PC The screen on your player should turn on, show 'Connected' and indicate the battery charging or full. - If the player does not turn on try other USB ports or on another computer if one is readily available. Ensure you are connecting directly to the computer USB port and not to a USB hub. - If there is nothing showing on the screen and the player does show up in as a storage device in an explorer window, then the screen is just not working. If you receive the error "USB Device Not Recognized" on the computer, the player is most likely failed. Additional troubleshooting is unlikely to correct the problem. Check under Device Manager 1. Right-click My Computer, and select Manage. 2. Click Device Manager on the left pane. NOTE: Sansa MP3 Players can connect to your computer in MSC or MTP mode. >>>><<<Exceptions are Sansa Connect and Sansa Express which only use MTP mode. MTP mode is the recommended and default method for Sansa Players when used with Windows OS. The Sansa player will show up on Device Manager's right pane as: 1. USB Mass Storage device (if the player is set to MSC) 2. Portable Device (if the player is set to MTP mode) If there is a yellow exclamation point (!) or question mark (?) beside the device, try to refresh the drivers.
Refresh the drivers 1. Right-click the entry with the error mark, select Uninstall. 2. On the top menu, click Action then select Scan for hardware changes. NOTE: If a device with yellow exclamation point (!) continually appears and disappears, then the player is most likely failed. Connect using MSC mode Connecting in MSC mode will help determine if there is a problem with MTP mode or with the Auto Detect mode feature of the player. You can use Forced MSC mode or switch the player settings to MSC. I click the turn on button nothing happens and when i connect it to the computer it says connected but on the computer nothing comes out on the walkmans screen so how do i make it work again?


Try hitting the reset button on your Sony Walkman and if possible try connecting to a different computer to see if it's your computers problem

Try adjust the USB cable and/or switch which USB port it's connected to on your computer. Also just patiently let the player sit and try not to perform any other actions on the computer. When mine did this, I opened Media Player, wiggled the USB cable and waited. Eventually it connected and worked correctly.

MP3 will not stop charging


It could be the usb cable,so shop around for another usb cable for it, if that doesn't work take it (The mp3 player) back to best buy and tell/show them what happened.

ok, so u formatted your player, hence the green screen. So now all you have to do is download the firmware(match your player, sl with sl firmware, etc) then extract w/ winrar, u get 2 files so put them both in root folder (displaying music, video, etc) unplug turn off, on it will update then wait few min till it turns off, then turn on and ur player will work.
