Hello, I have a number of Bosch Autodome LTC 0938/25C pendant outdoor CCTV cameras. It is designed to be focused via an electronic remote console "focus" rocker switch. One of the cameras will not focus completely with this control. I can see it trying to focus, both in and out, but it is never able to completely focus correctly. I have seen this problem with other similar camera installations at other facilities, so it is not a "one of a kind" problem. In older camera installations, this problem can be fixed with a "back focus" adjustment - a calibration of the physical distance between the front of the imaging CCD chip and the back of the camera lens. In conversation with Bosch, they claim that such an adjustment is not possible. How might I adjust/repair such a focus problem?

I have the same problem. Initially, I thought our installers left dust or fingerprints on the clear dome and the camera was attempting to focus on the dome. Removed the dome, exposing the camera lens, had the same result. Hunt, hunt, blur. Never a clear focus. Sending back for repair/replacement.
