Question about Siemens M35 Earbud Hands Free Headset
We have a project that makes use of a Siemens M35 phone as part of our remote controller module. But the thing is, when we send a command in the form of an sms message, the phone whilst connected to the module through a data cable, would not receive any messages. Instead, it would only do a network search, again and again but apparently no message can be received. And yes the GSM phone needs to be connected at all times. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Updates for this model were probably discontinued some time ago. For basic routing functions, you don't really need to upgrade. If you want this router to provide some basic firewall functions to protect against hackers on the Internet, it would be best to upgrade to one of the inexpensive LinkSys, Netgear, or D-Link routers that have improved firewall capability.

You will need to register it to your base station before it will work. You do so by holding down the registration/page key on the bottom of your base for a couple of seconds, and then grab your SL30 and push Menu, scroll down to the option of Handset settings, press OK, then scroll to "registration" and push OK, select base station 1, press OK, then enter the default pin of 0000 and press ok. Repeat these steps if first not successful. You can download a manual for free on our website at www.cordlessrepair.com
