I have an Hp 5550 inkjet and when I turn it on all the light s come on and the paper feed and power lights blink at the same time. What is the deal?
Like the post above, take both cartridges out of the printer and close the lid. The printer should start to activate the printer arm. Then once the printer is done moving replace the cartridges and close the lid. Press print!

No it does not work
my machine jammed as a label was printing - I removed the paper and no part of it stayed behind, but the power & resume lights continue to blink. I tried all the paper jam steps and even replaced both the ink cartridges, just in case, tried powering off and disconnecting from computer and redoing all - still have both blinking! Help!
Same!
I was printing photos and a paper got stuck. I pulled the paper out and the two lights (pager & power) began to blink. I have powered down the printer, reset, etc. and it still won't print. What do I do?
