Ps3 web browsing

Since the last update some websites that used to load ok (play.com, paypal.com) now wont load at all.. can anyone else help or confirm this?

Format the hard drive. you may lose all game info but it will start working again.

I have been using my PS3 to access the internet and it has being working fine until recently it now wont let me on the internet saying it doesnt have Adobe Flash Player to watch trailers or things like itv...

Try this and if it doesn't work let me know and we will go a different route.

Start your PlayStation 3's web browser. You can do this by navigating to the "Network" category on your PS3's main menu and selecting the "Internet" option.
Point your web browser to a website that uses Flash. YouTube, at www.youtube.com, is a good example.
Let the page load. Depending on your Internet connectio, this could take a few seconds.
Click "OK" when the box reading "Install Missing Plugin" appears on screen. As Flash comes pre-installed on the PS3, this will update you to the latest version of Flash. You will know the update is complete when YouTube videos then begin to load.

Have you tried updating the firmware of your PS3? ps3.com from there you can download the update to your computer, burn it to disc and then use it to update your PS3. Follow the directions on the website for downloading, burning a disc, and the using disc to update your PS3's firmware.

if you have access to internet at another location , you can download the latest updates from sony website http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PS3/PC_Update.html

place them on to a USB flash drive and install on to your PS3 system .

PS3 wont play load games, have blue ray and normal dvd play

You can try cleaning the laser lens with a cd / dvd lens cleaner cd.

This usually doesn't work, your problem is 98% of the time caused by a Sony defect in the blu-ray drive itself.

The drive will gradually get worse and worse.

If your system is under warranty then by all means get it repaired by Sony for free otherwise you're looking to pay $150 for Sony to repair their own mistake.

You can reach them @ 1-800-345-SONY

They'll probably suggest another System Restore, Firmware update and a 100 other solutions that won't work because it's hardware related.

My playstation wont play any discs at all

It's a Sony defect. Drives only last 1-3 years, sometimes less, with average use.

That's the number one problem that I see with the PS3.

Need more information. What do you mean you haven't been able to load anything since? What game is it? What version of the PS3 system's XMB are you running? Version 2.2 came out last night. Try updating.

is it playing bluray discs? if not its a problem with the last download. It'll still play cd's ps2 games just not ps3 games or bluray, sorry to say but its a job for sony, call up your local help line(number can be found on the website) and they will arrange a replacement or to repair yours. There service is normally good. Hope this helps.

Disc wont coem out

I look all over the net but could't find anything, until i found a site that said they
could show me how to fix any problem with my ps3. At first i was not so
sure about ordering the manual but i did, whats $5 plus i used paypal, but
long story short i fix my ps3, i recomend this site www.gameme.20fr.com
