First I want to say that I have never had any problems with my tv. ... Until now.
I purchased a Playstation 3... Everything worked fine for a couple days ... Now all of a sudden the sound on my TV is completely messed up.
There is sound.. however it is only pushing out the BASS. There is no MIDS or HIGHS.
I tried EVERY input on the TV and its the same thing for all of them.
I tried unplugging the TV and plugging it back in.
Any help is appreciated.

If you are able to connect your PS3 to another TV using the same HDMI cable that would rule out your PS3, if it works.....or
does the PS3 itself have any settings that perhaps need to be set to an HDMI output as opposed to Composite or SCART etc?
Also have a look at the HDMI settings in theh TV menu too.
I came across your post, georgebooth1, and would enjoy the opportunity to assist you with that issue! Check to see if there's a three-digit error message number showing in the top right corner of the TV screen. If there is, let me know what it is.
Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI OUT port on the
back of the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Connect the other end of the HDMI
cable into the HDMI Input port of the TV or display monitor.
While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the
front of the system), hold down the
touch-sensitive power button on the front of the system until the system
goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from:
red light --> green light --> then back to red light). This
will ensure that you have held down the power button long enough to
reset the Video Output Settings.
Turn on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and once the system finishes powering
up, the Video Output Settings will automatically reset to the standard
resolution (or detect the current display output settings of your
Try to connect to a different tv, also is the playstation 3 have any abnormal colors on the console, like the playstation 2 is green when on but I think they change to red if something is wrong. You will need to eliminate the problem at a time, hook the PS2 to tv, if it works fine then connect PS3 again, if doesn't look right, then it is no good.
how down the power button until it beeps twice. that will restart your settings for the display. once it beeps twice then turn the system on and change the default settings back to your hdmi settings. what happened was when you transferred the ps3 to composite the settings changed to accomodate that but when you switch back to hdmi it doesnt change back. the only solution is to hold down the power button untill it beeps twice. normaly 3 seconds.
try using the composite cables as well.....with your tv set to the composite input go back into the settings and select the HDMI output switch your tv's input back to your HDMI input and remove the composite cables....it should work fine...
