When I pull up the knobs on the side of the hand bars to enable me to fold the buggy or reverse the position of the hand bars it doesn't move. It seems to be jammed at the pivot point (inside the mechanism where the big silver button is) on the left side. The right side seems OK. I have tried spraying the silicon that came with it to lubricate it but still it wont budge. Does anyone know how I can get into the mechanism so I can fix it?
Any help much appreciated.

I have the same problem. Seems to be a weakness of the Bugaboo Cameleon. Unforunately, Bugaboo doesn't repair it.I have the same problem. Seems to be a weakness of the Bugaboo Cameleon. Unforunately, Bugaboo doesn't repair it.

Problem suggests that you have not followed the user operation procedure correctly and hence damaged the folding mechanism. It is possilble you may have damaged locking gear of the folding mechanism on the left side while trying to fold the equipment sometime during earlier operation. You may like to consult a service engineer to fix the problem

If you have the Sport or Explorer model, then if you stand the folded chassis upright, so that the handle is touching/near the floor, and front wheel facing away from you, on the right hand side (the joint where the chassis folds) there is a light grey button which you press in, then pull the front wheel outward and lift the handle bar up, this should get the chassis open. Ensure that the chassis makes an auible 'click' when opened, that way you know it's up properly.
Hi, apply the brake.
Go round to front of buggy.
Hold the 2 large grey buttons on side of frame.
1 pushes down 1 pushes forwards do this & pull buggy down towards you, this will fold it as long as the brake is on.
To fold the buggy, it is necessary to operate both a primary lock, and then a secondary lock. Start by making sure that the front swivel wheel is locked. Operate the primary locking device by pulling upwards on both of the plastic tabs located on the side of the handle arm just below the foam handle grip. Begin pressing downwards so that the pushchair begins to fold. Next, release the secondary locking device (raising the bar located lower down on the left-hand side) and continuing pressing downwards on the handle bar until the pushchair is fully folded. The handle bar can then be folded inwards to the maximum, by pressing simultaneously on the adjuster buttons on either side. Finally, with the chassis laid down, lock it into its folded position by closing the folding latch operated on the side.

I hope that this is helpful. Do leave some feedback, so that we know how you got on!
THe Mountain Buggy is very simple to fold. Level with the footrest, there is a black plastic button (either side), these simply push toward the back of the pram and hey presto! The pram will collapse. To make this as small as possible, keep the front two heels on swivel so that they tuck neatly underneath and the handle bar adjusted to the lowest position.
I believe that near the handle bar on either side there is plastic tubing over the metal section. You pull the plasticy bit up towards the handle bar - one has a metal lever under which you release (lhs I think) this then splits the side bars into 2 parts and in theory it drops down neatly
First you need to make sure that the handle bar is in the top most position.
Next the Front wheel needs to be turned sideways as you begin to lower/fold the buggy.
You must also watch the basket part so that it folds up and in so that it doesn't get stuck.
I usually will also fold it forward and down so that I know the wheel and basket are in the right position. When it is finally down it should clip into place.
Hope that helps a little. :)
In the middle of the underneath of the pushing handle, below where the hand brake lever is there should be a button. If there is, this is what you do. 1) put the foot brake on so the rear wheels wont turn. 2) unclip the clips on the frame that allow you to adjust the height of the pushing handle, they open up, and leave them open, like this the handle you push the buggy with should slide up and down. 3) pull this handle out to its tallest position 4) Hold the handle and press the button mentioned at the start in and hold it in 5) Then quite quickly push the handle down as though you were either pushing it to lower its pushing height, or shoving it away in a temper. It needs to be a firm and quick movement.
Ta da!! After a couple of tries it should click and fold up.
I will try to explain this best I can without actually having it in front of me. First off, start on one side or the other, doesnt matter which, take the top of your foot and pull up on the metal supports on the bottom of the back side of teh seat. You want to pull up in the center, under where the plastic "step" looking piece is. repeat this on the other side. Then you will push down on the littel lever that sticks out of the right side of the buggy. This releases the lock. Usually, you will then have to pull up again with your foot in the same place as before and push the handles of the stroller forward. The buggy should collapse. You may try some 3-in-1 oil, silicone spray or Pledge furniture pilish on the lever and "joints" to make it fold a little more smoothly.
Hi, you can download the manual from the quinny website, but as a quick guide, the best I found was - first stand with your foot against the front wheel (so it doesnt move forward) then press the grey buttons on either side of the chassis and at the same time draw the frame downwards towards your foot, please remember you can only fold down with the seat in place if the seat is facing forward (ie baby facing outwards) it wont fold down with the seat facing mum, there are also demos on you tube, hope ive helped and not been too complicated :)
