I Just bought the camcorder, I recorded 3 discs but now these discs do not want tp play on my PC? My PC does not even pick up that there is a disc in the drive, however all other discs work fine. I have downloaded every media playing format known to man. Even from the Sony website itself. What am I doing wrong?

The DCR-DVD205 does not support a direct connection to a PC. You have to record to a disc on the camcorder and then play the disc on the PC. Please see the instructions beginning on page 61 of the manual.
oops....something happened during the finalizing process and it failed. Hope you had a back-up in your computer of the disk. It doesn't need to be finalized to have it in the computer, just in case this happens. Looks like your disc got erased.
Try to use a cotton swap to 1st clean the recording lens or blow gently
on it. Place an empty disc in, format the disc, record a little scene.
Turn off camcorder. Place the error disc in the camcorder, turn on the
camcorder all the way to play/edit. If this doesn't work turn it to
record and try to record. Worked for some of my error disc
your Camcorder is in PAL (system for most European countries). In US the system is NTSC.
But be calm. On multisystem sets you can follow the converted signal.
On PC it is even easier.
