3230 problem cellular phone is good but i have facing many problme 1. battery backup time to time decrease. 2.when regular fast usesage then hangue. 3.network problem not covering network fastly. 4.not provided screen saver software. 5.song lisening slow but ring volume right.

    uour phone have rf problem change rf module in network section for screensaver formate u r phone and add new screen saver for formating phone do this, tern off u r phone press *+3+calling key together and tern on u r phone dont leve thes button untill phone will appiar formating

When i start my nokia 3230 phone first it shows "system error"& "code error"
& one more thing is that i cant type messages b'coz my alphabets not working pz help me.

My cell phone got dropped in the swimming pool.
take the battery and sim card out. put the phone, sim card and battery in a bag of regular dry rice for two days. reassembly, this has worked for my phone and ipod.

The battery life is very short
decrease its brightness form the settings to 50% the battery gives more backup....or if u hear the songs through the speaker for long time the battery goes down fast & this prob with each & every set ...

Battery gets discharged
Possible Problems:
1. Maybe there's a virus.
2. Often restart can drain the battery.

Possible Solution:
Format it by pressing the green key or call key + no. 3 + asterisk(*) at the same time. But 1stly, turn off ur fone, then b4 the NOKIA logo appears, hold these following keys altogether. You will see the "Formatting" word afterwards..
OR...
Format it by typing *#7370.

Restarting
this should do the trick...press star, call button(the green one), three, and power button all together while powering up your phone..press them until formatting comes out then you release them..note: don't release buttons until formatting does not appear....try and try until you succeed

Backup phone memory
try to format your phone

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.
3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.
4. Press and hold 3 keys;
Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.

Remember, do not let go all of the keys and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!

5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6600 will back to original system and factory settting.

All apps installed & not of the phones' default will be lost. If you did a backup on your mmc, you can restore it back to the C drive again.

Problem regarding the hang of my phone
Nokia 3230 has inbuilt web browser. which does not seems to be fast enough. Try browsing through opera mobile software. if the problem still persists then the might be with your Gprs radio modem. Else the Network provider also responsible. There might be some virus which can also responsible. Some hardware problem may does work. Have a software reset before backup your phone memory to your memory card. if the problem solves after formating then the problem with the OS and phone memory.

My Nokia 3230 wont continue to start despite new battery Previously it would start, but then it would display the message " Insert Sim Card " afterwhich it would display " Sim Card Rejected ". And then it would read that the unit will " Restart " and then it will repeat the same messages all over again until it displayed only the brand "Nokia" and then went off. I then replace the battery but to no avail. It went off again after displaying Nokia upon turning it on.
