Stuck plastic coin inside drive slot

not too many 19 year old cd players in any car still work
full of road dust and grime.
it needs a full service, cleaning.
if lucky.
labels stuck inside, peeled off.
kids put coins in the slot.
end less possibles , only inspections see that is up.
then fully cleaned (means dismantled too)

The only solution would be to try and shake them out gently, though this may harm the components inside. The best option would be to either take it to a repair shop to get them removed or open it yourself, though doing it yourself will void the warranty and therefore isn't advisable.

probebly not a good idea to use without removing the coins. it maybe ok now but if they move it could jam the drive or even short something causing a much bigger problem

yikes. The wii won't have enough power to eject it on its own. find a guide and take your wii apart pull out the drive, and take the drive itself apart. then pull the stuff out. Or call nintendo and shell out however much they want you to pay, your choice. Sorry, but thats pretty much all you can do. I would just buy a new one. chances are that if it is jammed in there that good, something broke inside the drive.

Look at the cover near the cd slot - it should still have the hole. You mention coins inside - kids? It seems probable that the cd was installed with power on, but you will still have the hole - it's small so that a paper clip will just fit into it. Since you have the coins probably still in there, I would disconnect power, remove the cover and pull the cd driver from the tower case. More than likely the cd and cdrom drive will be damaged beyond repair, but if you remove the drive from the computer you'd be able to shake the coins out of it and also to be sure the coins aren't going to short out *********** board. If you can do that then you might as well reinstall everything and put it back together, then power it up to check it. Who knows you might get lucky...

I had the same problem and it turns out one of my kids put a coin into the top of it and it was far down inside where i could not see it.and it was stuck in the bend of the paper feed after tearing it almost all the way down i finally was able to see it removed the coin and it worked.

It sounds like a bent mechanism, or you have something stuck in there, i see a lot where kids put coins and stuff into the slot. there is a repair center in Bradford called autosound 01248688990 they repair nissan.
