I bought a Checksoft program and loaded it on my laptop. Laptop was stolen and I am trying to reload it on another computer. I can't find my license key. Usually on box, where is it?

Dear you didn't inform me which browser you used.
Firstly, If your internet connection is too slow then the fb page can't load properly because of the fb contain too images or video for this reason the page can't load properly.
2nd, If you use internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox then the reason is in browser directory contain a crash file which is accused for it. So you can principally uninstall the browser program then reinstall it again. Finally restart your pc.
3rd, Normally remember Compaq laptop is not too first i mean its ram or processor. So if you use so many programs which will load on ram and processor. So please uninstall unnecessary programs from your laptop.

This is a hard drive issue or windows have corrupt files, if you have the installation disc try and reload the operational system, if no change! have the hardware checked out at a computer repair store.

You my friend are up the creek without a paddle. How could you forget the Hard Drive Password? Oh I know, it's a stolen laptop. If you're smart enough to set a password on the hard drive, then you're smart enough to remember it. 99% of computers with passwords on the hard drive and the person that has the laptop doesn't know the password, either stole it or bought it hot off the streets. The real owner set the password to keep thieves from getting to sensitive data if it is ever stolen. They might have even set the password remotely once it was stolen. The laptop is useless unless the real owner puts the password in to unlock it.

You can just reload the program and Windows at one point will ask if you want to repair or re-install. You may need to reload the original program 1st, then load Windows 7 for the upgrade to work.

Upgrades read the computer to identify what was previously loaded to qualify the new program. So if it's a Vista to Win7, if Vista wasn't loaded first on the upgrade if you replaced the hard drive in some cases, it doesn't always take properly.

Hard Drives do not have a built in password. Hard drives are password protected by the original owner to keep thieves from getting into sensitive data. If your hard drive has a password on it and you don't know the password, then 99% of the time it means you have a stolen laptop. The original owner might have always had it password locked on the hard drive or once it was stolen they may have had the ability to lock it remotely. The only way you'll be able to use that laptop is to get the original owner to key in and remove the password from the hard drive or purchase another hard drive and get it installed, load the operating system, load the drivers, load the application programs.

Can you see the toshiba loading screen when you first turn on the system? If yes, then load in safe mode and uninstall the driver and reload the video driver from toshiba's web site.

If you cant see video at all. (try) reseating the video cable to the motherboard, some laptops have a nasty tendency of having that cable come loose after beign opened and closed for awhile.

if you have some problems with programs first goto microsoft website and do windows updates ...it will download required patches hope that might solve your problem.

have you tried using "LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION"?When you first turn it on keep hitting "F8",use the arrow keys to go to last known good configuration then click enter.If it does do the same thing you can reload OS without losing all data,dont partition or format just reload OS but some third party programs wont work because files are loaded into the windows folder.You would have to reload third party programs.
