Gamecube memory hi is there non genuine memory cards available from local shops?i live in sydney aust.?

    I had a intec memory card that I had awhile back and it had been corrupted I then copied all the current files on that card and both cards were damaged! so when I re-load fifa 05 and 06 the info gets corrupted when I load one or the other so, I was wondering can't I just buy a new memory card and start over, if so how?

Ya there all kinds of "generic" memory cards. Generic means not made by nintendo. ask any store clerk. they'll know what you mean. look on ebay. mad cat is one company. lots of companies make them. real easy to find in usa

How do i format, the memory card .to play on wii
Hi Sir
  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

    If you are trying to transfer the gamecubes's memory card into the wii, that will not work; you will either have to get another game for the wii (and or gamecube) or have another memory card to go to another town.

    read my previous post to you and try that and let me know if it worked or not sounds like you will have to follow those instructions. maybe it will work. since the gamecube states the card was damaged so a format will be required so the method will wipe it clean and cross your fingers and hope it works.
