Need to change from default chinese language back to english,the wordings under the display icons ont e igreen mp4 player is in chinese and i want it in english. cant find the manual

Try to translate from english to chinese the word "Language" or whatever. This happend to me as well but i had the icon.

1. Open Google Translate: https://translate.google.com/
2. Type "Settings" in the left text box on the Google Translate page.
3. On the right side next to the languages, click the little triangle that points down and choose "Chinese" to see the letters/symbols that match the lettering for the "Settings" on your device. Choose that option on your device.
4. Go back to Google Translate and type "Language" to see the letters/symbols that match the lettering for the "Language" on your device. Choose that option on your device.
5. Once you are in the language settings, you should be able to choose "English".

select the third option called languages

• Press TOOLS (The spanner Icon in the bottom right corner of the screen which says WHERE TO and VIEW MAP
• Press SETTINGS, the spanner icon, or (LOCALE the blue icon top right, on some models which don't have a SETTINGS icon)
• Press LANGUAGE (the lips icon)
• This will take you to a page with 3 items. VOICE, TEXT LANGUAGE and KEYBOARD.

If you need to change the text language press TEXT LANGUAGE and select English
If you need to change the voice language press VOICE and select a voice from an English speaking country. If you need to change the keyboard to english Press KEYBOARD and select English.

I know if the text is in Chinese you won't know which icon is which but by pressing each of them in turn you'll get to select English for each.

None of these answers helped me. I figured it out on my own. After your smpk8854b is powered up, press the bottom right icon. Then press the center icon. Next, press the top selection. And, finally, double tap the word "english". It will now be back to english.

Go to settings--then go to phone settings--then go to language settings--then go to phone language
there you can change your phone's language to english if this is not possible contact your phone's website there you will find latest details.

use google translater to get the chinese words for the bolded words.It could be easy for you to indentify the icons.

Go into settings then language.

To reset the language displayed on a ZEN player to English, change the language back to English or run Cleanup from the player.

If the player is a flash based player, such as a ZEN Nano, ZEN Nano Plus or MuVo, the language can be reset by manually changing the language or updating the firmware. To manually change the language:

1. Press the scroll wheel to access the main menu.
2. Scroll to the Settings option (the icon looks like a gear).
3. Scroll to the Language option (the icon looks like a pearson speaking).

Go to setting(the gears). Then go down to the 4 line. Finally just go to the second line and you're done.
