Question about Targus AMB03US
This happens to me alot when my Dell laptop w/ Vista is restarted. It seems to be the bluetooth-- Vista says the bluetooth sent an error and the driver was not installed. Usually a reboot fixes it. I suggest once it is working don't turn your PC off!

Try new batteries. If this does not work then try reinstalling the blue tooth drivers. If this does not work then replace the mouse. if you purchased it from Dell, it might be still under warranty.

I too have had problems with getting the mouse to be recognized and after it finally does, it stops being recognized after the computer is turned off and then restarted.
Thinking it might be constantly draining the recharable batteries but it is usually left plugged in almost all the time and this would seem to rule out this as an explanation for failure.
Tech support via Targus website poor and does not address the problem. It may be that Vista is different from Windows and the manual is written for Windows and not updated.
