Pink and greenish lines creating a double picture

Hi, I have a Philips 55PW9363/17F HD TV. The problem is, while the TV is on ,there are pink and greenish outlines around the pictures,which make the pictures look double,and yes its on every channel. What could this problem be ? Will I need a new picture tube ? Is it a problem that I can repair ?

I just today have the identical problems on my 55 inch TV. Pink and greenish double imaging. looks weird. I looked for a reset thinking old school. No dice. Is it worth fixing or should I just buy. Moneys tight, and I still like my TV. Who's got a real answer????

With your remote go to your menu and find convergence. Follow the instructions to auto set convergence. if that don't fix it the problem convergence panel if bad.

TV Picture is tinted pink

depending on how much you paid for the tv , the cost of the repair may be more than the tv is worth. but if this is a large tv , then the repair would be most likely worth it

Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM... Problem

(Have u got a small cable with both side 3.5mm pin like head ph cable cord if not buy it) NOW FoLLOW THE STEPS1)plug the cable between tv card jack(green slot) to line in jack (computer pink slot)2)plug ur spker to line out jack(green slot in computer)3) double click on small spker icon (left side to ur screen near clock)4) click options menu>Properties>chose audio out option 4m drop box(see image)

5)click rear pink in >okAnd all done have fun

you can get it your tv fix the problem is in the IF amp and video circuit.a convergence will also be neeeded.the tv is old but can give you some more life call a tech they will be your tv doc.
