I have a Sony Grand wega hdtv im getting fuzy diagnol lines on all the channels and when im on a video component channel they turn purple fuzy diagnol lines covering 3/4 of the screen. can someone help?
Try changing the component cable to your Video 6 and see if you have the same problem. I tried this and figured out that the set top box from Verizon component connections may be bad. I also tried changing to a different set of component cables to troubleshoot. I figure its the box not my TV.
sony extended the warranty till sept 30 2007 regarding this issue. if you have contact sony before this im not sure if you can get them to pay for the part. essentially you need an optical assy
