Using the phone outside the country

Yes, you can use a prepaid SIM card in the Philippines OR check with your cell phone provider if they have International roaming in the Phillipines.
If not you need to use a prepaid SIM card and you may need to check with your cell phone provider to see if your cell phone is unlocked and you can use any SIM card. If the cell phone is locked to your provider then get the unlock restriction code from them to unlock your cell phone.

Can i bring my blackberry to the philippines?

Yes. Call 800-922-0204 from a landline, ask to speak with Global Services and they will be very happy to unlock the SIM card inside for use with International carriers. They do it all day long.

Hi santosh,

In my country (Philippines) you have to pay around US$80 to get the unlock code. You may try this site. They offer paid service as well as free service but your phone model doesn't qualify for the free unlock code.
