Jukebox i just bought a second hand jukebox (MINISTRY OF SOUND MOSMP036 SI SERIES 20GB JUKEBOX), and i can't get my pc to recognize it. i've installed all the software, but when i plug it into the USB port it gets as far as saying 'initializing' before rebooting and starting again. also, when i open the audiophile program that came with it it says 'can not find juke box. if juke box has already been connected to your computer and a disk drive for juke box is present on windows. please disconnect it and power on juke box alone. then reconnect juke box.' nothing i do seems to work. please could you get back to me with some suggestions. thanks

Plug your MOSMP036 into your USB port on your computer. Find it in "Device Manager". Double click on it then go to "Driver". Click on "Update Driver", then on "Next" then "Next" again and again to search for suitable driver. DO NOT INSTALL the driver it says is nearest match but click on the "Install one of the other drivers box and click "Next". Select the driver for USB mass storage device and click next. You will now be able to find your MP3 player's disc in Widows Explorer where you can create folders and copy and move files at will. Just remember when you have finished to go into MOS Jukebox, click on Sync the on File and then on Exit, otherwise your player menu will not display your songs as you have installed them. Iuse my MOSMP036 to back up my important computer files!

I have Musicmatch Jukebox 10 but have just changed over to Windows 7.I have a Packard Bell Hard Drive. How do I update from xp please ?

Musicmatch Jukebox 10 is not compatible with windows 7 >>
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/

MusicMatch Jukebox 10 was designed to be used on older 32-bit operating systems like Windows XP.Note that MusicMatch Jukebox 10 is also no longer being developed, so it is unlikely that these problems will be resolved in future.
Before proceeding with installation of Musicmatch Jukebox 10, you need to look on your Windows 7 PC for any previous versions of Musicmatch Jukebox. If you've already tried installing version 8, for example, then you need to run a complete uninstall, not to mention a good clean up of the registry.Use Revo uninstaller to uninstall and clean any registry trash ,revo uninstaller can be downloaded on the link below:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Once you have done this, or if you had no earlier versions of Musicmatch Jukebox installed, you will need to download and install the only suitable version.Download and Install Musicmatch Jukebox 10 on Windows 7 >>http://musicmatch-jukebox.com/

Once downloaded, right-click the installer file and select Run as Administrator. Next, you will need to OK the first of many warnings that the file is incompatible with this version of Windows.Proceed through the installer, clicking Next at each option. When you come to the registration page, click the option to not register and also claim to be under 13. Click Next to complete more steps of the installation, changing the location required for your Music folder if necessary. Musicmatch Jukebox 10 will add files and playlists to this location. As the installer finishes, you will be prompted to install the Yahoo! toolbar. You will need to deselect this.A successful installation should result in more incompatibility warnings. Ignore these, but agree to reboot your PC. Next right click Musicmatch Jukebox icon and select properties > compatibility >check run this program in compatibility mode for: (Windows XP) click apply ->ok.

When it the zen is turned on it says firmware

Had the same problem and nearly went nuts trying to fix it. Here's what I did:

1. Uninstall all creative driver & creative software.
2. Uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 (Rolled back to WMP 10) and restarted PC.
3. Uninstalled Windows Media Player 11 Runtime and restarted PC.
4. Downloaded and Installed the latest free version of Winamp from http://www.winamp.com
5. Connected my A/C Power Cord to my Nomad Jukebox then connected my Nomad Jukebox via USB cable to the Computer.

The computer should then recognize the Nomad Jukebox as "Found New Hardware" then "MTP Device" and lastly "Your new hardware is installed and ready to use.

6. If you haven't already, go to the creative website and download the Creative Zen Xtra PlaysForSure Firmware 2.10.03 and save it to your computer.
7. Run the Firmware (Make sure Nomad Jukebox is connected) and at this point the Computer should recognize the Nomad Jukebox and begin the upgrade.

After your upgrade is complete, You can go ahead and re-download Windows Media Player 11 and it will recognize the Nomad Jukebox. Not sure what version of windows you have, but I have two computers, one with windows xp and the other has windows 7 and Im able to transfer music perfectly fine with Windows Media Player and RealPlayer on both computers. I hope this works for you. Good Luck!

Ministry of sound mosmp028 drivers 20gb

Hello mar222184,

The Ministry of Sound branded MP3 players were made by Alba audio. Their product website (located here) does not appear to have any software or driver downloads. However it does have an e-mail address for their tech support ([email protected]). I'd suggest dropping them a note as a next step in trying to find drivers.

Hope this helps,
Ken

Mosmp036 problems

Follow the following steps:-
1. Create folders on your computer for the various types of music you wish to keep and put all your MP3 files into these folders.

2. Connect your MOSMPO36 to your computer USB. I find it connects more reliably if I also connect the charger to the player at the same time.

3. I am running on WIN2000 PRO but I assume that Vista has Windows Explorer or its equivalent. Go to this and create folders with the same names as in 1. above in the Removable Disk folder which is your player.

4. Copy your MP3 files from the folders on your computer to the folders of the same name on your player.

5. Open MOS Jukebox which I assume you have loaded into your computer. If you have not you must do so.

6. Click on Sync. When it has finished building the music library:-

7 Click file, click exit.

I do not bother with play lists so can not help you on those. I always play back from "Track" which puts all your MP3 tracks in alphabetical order irrespective of which folder they are in.

Do not try to store all your MP3 files/tracks on one folder. The
MOSMPO36 does not appear to like folders of more than about 2 Gigabytes.

Hope above is helpful.
