Pry off the covers carefully and tighten the screws. The covers will come off. You can even place a thin piece of cardboard between the screw drive and the refrigerators surface so you wont scratch it. Hope this helps

Unfortunately, they seem to be making door handles cheaper now and many people are having problems with them. If it is loose, the only thing you can do is unscrew and pry off the inner door panel and once inside the door, tighten up the connections. Remove the knob by pushing in the small pin on the edge of the knob shaft. Then use a screwdriver in the small inset on the edge of the handle cover to pop the cover off. Tighten the 2 screws under the cover, replace parts.
Most door handles now are front repairable. I can't tell without the model number which style you have, but most units have an insert in the door handle. You have to pry this insert out, to get to the screws for the handle. Some handles actually clip on to the door by sliding the handle up or down to clip it on or off. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists.
The door handles mount on hex bolts sticking out of the door, the door handles have key hole inserts that match with the bolts. The door handles are then slid in one direction to lock the handles in place. Removal is the reverse. To tighten the door handle screw the bolt out enough that you can still put the handle over the bolt heads and slide the handle to lock the handle in place.
i have a whirlpool conquest side by side and had loose handles, couldn't figure out.but then i grabbed handle and push in and up,handles slide off you can then tighten bolts then slide it back on.hope this helps.n
I had this problem on this model and just repaired it.... and I am no mechanic. The bottom of the handle was loose. You'll see there is a cap on the top and bottom of the handle. You need to pop the cover off of the end that is loose. For the bottom part of the handle, I used a flat head screwdriver under the most southern portion of the handle, lifted the handle of the screwdriver towards me. The cover popped with minimal effort. Tighten the screw and replace cover. Pretty, pretty, pretty easy!
I was actually trying to find a solution to this problem myself though I'm pretty sure I already know the solution. Try this: grip the handle that's loose firmly and jerk it up. The handle should come up and the straight out to reveal the spring clip mechanism holding the handle on. Tighten the screws on this and then put the handle back on by pushing it towards the fridge and jerking it down. You make want to protect the fridge above and below were the handle attaches so you don't scratch the fridge door when pulling the handle on or off.
